Dash till Death is a single player action platformer with a beat under everything. Your only attack is dash. Dash into the boss and you both take damage. Dash on the beat and your dash gets faster, hits harder, and starts a combo that grows the longer you stay in time. The boss moves on the music too, so the fight ends up reading like a duet that happens to involve a lot of pain. Hit the boss and it spits out scraps that heal you, so you're always trading: you need to land hits to stay alive, but every hit costs you something to take. The look is geometric and loud. Vibrant colors, beating UI, a world that pulses with the song. If you grew up on Just Shapes and Beats and wished it had teeth, this is the one.
