Shelter Nightshift
You are the gate. Some of the people aren't people.

About
Shelter Nightshift is a single player tension game inspired by Papers Please. You're working the gate at a shelter, the world outside has gotten worse, and monsters have learned how to shapeshift into people. Your job is to figure out who's real before you let them in. Every visitor hands you an ID. You pull up your laptop, search them by name or by their ID number, and compare what the records say to what's actually standing at your gate. Height, weight, build, skin tone, the small things that don't quite line up. Some are obvious. Some take a second look. The shift runs until 6 AM and you have a quota to hit before it does. Get one wrong and the laptop starts to crawl. Searches take longer. Pop-up viruses creep across your screen, the kind you have to click through while someone is staring at you waiting for an answer. The longer mistakes pile up, the worse your tools get, and the harder the night becomes. It's a quiet horror about paperwork, exhaustion, and the moment you realize you've been letting the wrong things through.
